Leonard Rääf is a Swedish writer/film-director, who has been making films since the age of seven. Before moving to Paris to study and work in film, he’d spend every penny he earned on his passion projects, one of which became the multi-award winning short film ’Renard Rouge’. The film claimed the main prize ‘Best Nordic Short at the Nordic International Film Festival in New York City.
From his base in Copenhagen, Leonard has already made his mark on culture. He’s created music videos including ‘Gorillas’ for British/Danish group Rosegold, as well as numerous commercials and large-scale productions, such as 34-minute narrative short film ’Clay’, shot in Iceland. ‘Clay’ was written and directed by Leonard and already has 16 selections and 6 wins on the international film circuit.
